The “German-Tibetan Dictionary” app is a joint project of Monlam Tibetan IT Research Center (India) and the Tibet Institute Rikon (Switzerland).The dictionary is based on the German-Tibetan dictionary, written by Losang Tenzin Mantö and published by the Tibet Institute Rikon.The dictionary contains over 15,000 German-Tibetan translations.
They are mostly words that are used in everyday life in Tibetan society within the German-speaking area.With this app, the Tibet Institute Rikon and Monlam IT want to make a contribution to maintaining the cultural heritage of Tibet in German-speaking countries.
